Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) raised many eyebrows as the Virat Kohli-led side decided to release 10 players as a part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) retention process. RCB’s decision to retain 10 players has become one of the biggest talking points in world cricket, especially after the team reached the playoffs in IPL 2020 played in UAE. Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir expressed his disappointment over RCB’s latest move and said making plenty of changes every season has been the biggest problem for the Kohli-led team.

सभी टीमों ने रिटेन और रिलीज किये हुए खिलाड़ियों की लिस्ट जारी कर दी है. जिसमें से आरसीबी की टीम ऐसी है. जिन्होंने सबसे ज्यादा खिलाड़ियों को टीम से बाहर किया. जी हाँ, आरसीबी ने अपने दस खिलाड़ियों को बाहर कर दिया. ताकि नयी नीलामी में कुछ नए और बढ़िया खिलाड़ी को खरीदा जा सके. आरसीबी के इस स्ट्रेटजी की आलोचना गौतम गंभीर ने जमकर की है. आरसीबी के इस फैसले पर पूर्व भारतीय क्रिकेट गौतम गंभीर ने टीम मैनेजमेंट पर निशाना साधा है. यूएई में खेले गए आईपीएल 2020 में आरसीबी का परफॉर्मेंस काफी अच्छा रहा था. आईपीएल के 13वें सीजन में आरसीबी की टीम प्लेऑफ तक पहुंची थी. बावजूद इसके आरसीबी ने 10 खिलाड़ियों को रिलीज करने का फैसला लिया. गौतम गंभीर ने आरसीबी के इस फैसले पर निराशा जताई है.
