Former Indian cricketer BS Chandrasekhar has been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Bengaluru after suffering a stroke, a Karnataka State Cricket association official said. Chandrasekhar, 75, had suddenly complained of fatigue and slurring in speech after which he was taken to the hospital on January 15. The former spinner's condition is stable and he will be discharged within two days.

भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व दिग्गज बीएस चंद्रशेखर बेंगलूरू के एक निजी अस्पताल में भर्ती हुए हैं। उनकी अचानक तबियत बिगड़ी, जिसके बाद तुरंत उन्हें अस्पताल ले जाया गया। कर्नाटक राज्य क्रिकेट संघ के प्रवक्ता विनय मृत्युंजय ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि 75 वर्षीय चंद्रशेखर को फिलहाल आईसीयू में रखा गया है और उनकी हालत स्थिर है।वहीं पत्नी संध्या चंद्रशेखर ने बताया कि वह अब ठीक हैं। वह मैच देख रहे थे। इस दौरान उन्हें बोलने में दिक्कत की शिकायत की। इसलिए हम उन्हें अस्पताल ले गए। अब वह ठीक हैं और दो दिन में अस्पताल से घर लौट आएंगे।
