In the first election held in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Gupta alliance has emerged as the first choice. In the District Development Council i.e.DDC election, the Gupta alliance got 110 seats while BJP won the largest party by winning 75 seats. To discuss the DDC election results, the members of the Gupta group held a meeting in Srinagar. केंद्र शासित प्रदेश जम्मू-कश्मीर में हुए पहले चुनाव में गुपकार गठबंधन पहली पसंद बनकर उभरा है. जिला विकास परिषद यानी DDC चुनाव में गुपकार गठबंधन को 110 सीटें मिली हैं जबकि 75 सीटें जीतकर बीजेपी सबसे बड़ी पार्टी बनी. डीडीसी चुनाव परिणामों पर चर्चा करने के लिए गुपकार गठबंधन के सदस्यों ने श्रीनगर में एक बैठक की. जिसमें नेशनल कांफ्रेंस के मुखिया फारूक अब्दुल्ला ने कहा कि गुपकार गठबंधन बहुत मजबूत है
