Covaxin, the indigenous corona vaccine of Bharat Biotech and ICMR, has shown better immune response in clinical trials of the first phase. According to an interim analysis of the first phase, the vaccine has been found to be safe. No side effects of this vaccine have been seen during the trial. The vaccine worked as an antibody preparation.

भारत बायोटेक और आईसीएमआर की स्वदेशी कोरोना वैक्सीन Covaxin ने पहले फेज के क्लीनिकल ट्रायल में बेहतर इम्यून रिस्पॉन्स दिखाया है. पहले फेज के अंतरिम विश्लेषण के हिसाब से वैक्सीन सुरक्षित पाई गई है. ट्रायल के दौरान इस वैक्सीन का वालंटियर पर कोई साइड इफेक्ट देखने को नहीं मिला है. टीका ने एंटीबॉडी तैयार करने का काम किया।
