Chhath Puja is performed on the seventh day of Shukla Paksha in Kartik month. The fast is observed on this day after offering arghya at sunrise. Sunrise will be on November 21 at 6:49 am and sunset at 05:25 pm. The best time to break the fast is in the morning. If due to some reasons, someone is not able to pass the morning, then they should do it after midday. Parana occurs at the end of each fast, which is done in the morning on the second day of the fast. 21 November Saturday is Usha Argh Sunrise at 06:48.

कार्तिक मास में शुक्ल पक्ष की सप्तमी तिथि को छठ पूजा का पारण किया जाता है। इस दिन व्रत का पारण सूर्योदय के समय अर्घ्य देने के बाद किया जाता है। 21 नवंबर को सूर्योदय प्रात: 6:49 बजे तथा सूर्यास्त शाम 05:25 बजे होगा। व्रत तोड़ने के लिए सबसे उपयुक्त समय प्रात:काल होता है। कुछ कारणों की वजह से अगर कोई प्रात: काल पारण करने में सक्षम नहीं है तो उसे मध्या- के बाद पारण करना चाहिए। प्रत्येक व्रत के अंत में पारण होता है, जो व्रत के दूसरे दिन प्रात: किया जाता है। 21 नवंबर शनिवार उषा अर्घ सूर्योदय का समय 06:48 बजे है।
