దుబ్బాక ఉప ఎన్నిక బరిలో భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ దుమ్మురేపింది. 23 వ రౌండ్ పూర్తయ్యేసరికి 1470 ఓట్ల మెజారిటీతో బీజేపీ విజయం సాధించింది. మొదటి పది రౌండ్స్ ఆధిక్యం ప్రదర్శించిన బిజెపి, తరువాత క్రమంగా డల్ అయింది. ఆ తర్వాత చివరి రౌండ్లలో అనూహ్యంగా పుంజుకుని బిజేపి విజయాన్ని నమోదు చేసింది .టీఆర్ఎస్ అభ్యర్థి సుజాతపై 1470 ఓట్ల మెజార్టీతో బీజేపీ అభ్యర్థి రఘునందన్‌రావు గెలుపొందారు.
