It's a little past 5PM in New York the day after the elections.
We still don't clearly have an idea who will lead America for the next four years President Trump or Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
As of the moment we are seeing a close race, with Biden slightly leading in the number of electoral votes.
For more on the latest situation in the U.S., we will be speaking live to Ian Phillips, the vice-president of the international news division at the Associated Press.
Again before we proceed with our connection, we ask for your patience, as we are expecting some delays during the connection.
Now, let's connect to Ian Phillips who is live in New York for us.
Good afternoon Ian, I believe some states have finished counting, how do experts forecast the results to unfold? Can you give us a rundown on the current situation, and which states do we need to keep a close eye on?
Ian, how long did results take to come out in previous Presidential elections? And why is it taking longer this time? And the big question, when can we expect to see who wins?
How are the public reacting as the results come in? I heard there were some signs of violence across the country throughout the evening?
On Wednesday, President Trump announced plans to ask the Supreme Court to stop counting votes claiming a major fraud had been committed against voters. How will this affect the elections?
Well I'm afraid that's all the time we have, that was Ian Phillips, vice-president of the international news division at the Associated Press reporting in New York for us. Thank you again Ian.
