A pregnant woman was carried to the hospital on a sling by the locals during heavy rain in Odisha’s Kalahandi. The hospital was located 7 km from the village. The woman had to be carried by locals due to lack of road connectivity. Locals claimed that government has not taken any action. The woman has been admitted to the hospital. Medical treatment is underway.
