Locals work together to rescue a pregnant woman after she went into labour in eastern India.
According to local reports, due to the lack of accessible roads, an ambulance could not reach the village.
Visuals show a group of men carrying an expecting mother in a makeshift stretcher while few others trailed behind.
The incident took place on Monday (February 10) in Kusumkhunti village, in the Indian state of Odisha.
Local media also reported that the woman had to be carried for 5 kilometres through hilly terrain before reaching the nearest road where an ambulance was arranged to take the woman to a nearby hospital.
