In pursuit of a 150-run target, KXIP lost KL Rahul (28) in the 8th over. Chris Gayle stepped in to amplify the run-chase, scoring 51 off 29 balls including 5 sixes. Mandeep was the top-scorer with unbeaten 66 runs off 56 deliveries.

इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग यानी आइपीएल के 13वें सीजन का 46वां मुकाबला कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स और किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब के बीच शारजाह के मैदान पर खेला गया। इस मैच मे पंजाब के कप्तान केएल राहुल ने टॉस जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी करने का फैसला किया। कोलकाता की टीम ने पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए शुभमन गिल के अर्धशतक के दम पर 9 विकेट पर 149 रन का स्कोर खड़ा किया। पंजाब ने लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए 18.5 ओवर में 2 विकेट के नुकसान पर जीत हासिल की।
