Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Awasthi who met the family members of the Hathras victim said on Saturday that the Special Investigation Team constituted by UP Government will look into their grievances.

"We will resolve all their queries. The security of their village will be beefed up," Avinash Awasthi said.

He added that any public representative can meet the Hathras victim's family in a group of five. "Five people will be allowed to go and meet the family," he said.

Top UP government officials were in Hathras on Saturday to meet the victim's kin.
