코로나19 어제 63명 신규확진…이틀째 두 자릿수, 지역발생 53명
South Korea reported 63 new COVID-19 cases on Friday as it entered the Chuseok break's mid point.
The second day in a row of two-digit numbers.
53 were locally transmitted.
Due to the holidays, there's expected to be less testing conducted, a trend which may have contributed to the lower figures.
As increased domestic travel during the period could result in a surge of new cases, authorities remain on high alert.
One additional death was reported... bringing the total to four-hundred-16.
