Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sent a proposal to the Central Government regarding the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Project. In this, CM Yogi has requested the Center to extend the Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Project from Meerut to Muzaffarnagar. With this, along with Meerut, many more districts of western Uttar Pradesh will also be connected with NCR.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने दिल्ली-मेरठ रैपिड रेल प्रोजेक्ट को लेकर केंद्र सरकार को एक प्रस्ताव भेजा है. इसमें सीएम योगी ने केंद्र से अनुरोध किया है दिल्ली-मेरठ रैपिड रेल प्रोजेक्ट को मेरठ से आगे बढ़ा कर मुजफ्फरनगर तक किया जाए. इससे मेरठ के साथ ही पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के कई और जिले भी एनसीआर से जुड़ जाएंगे.
