Sarawak Assistant Tourism Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin said a total ban on open-burning must be enforced immediately as there are at least 10 cases of wildfires raging in Miri and Kuala Baram districts everyday now.

The Senadin state assemblyman is calling for urgent meeting of all environmental enforcement agencies in Miri to tackle the issue.
