A Forestry Department officer and his wife were among five remanded until Sept 17 in a major Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) crackdown on illegal logging in Pahang. They are believed to have been involved in receiving or giving bribes to turn a blind eye to illegal logging in Jerantut, Pahang.
