A former political secretary has been remanded to assist investigations into allegations of bribery in connection with a project to carry out maintenance for the country’s security system worth about RM56mil.
The 49-year-old suspect was remanded at the Putrajaya magistrate’s court for six days beginning Wednesday (July 8) after Magistrate Shah Wira Abdul Halim approved an application by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
