Since the controversy erupted over DMK leader Kanimozhi asking questions in Hindi, the tone of Hindi protest has once again intensified in South India. DMK नेता कन‍िमोझी से हिंदी में सवाल पूछने पर छिड़े विवाद के बाद से एक बार फिर दक्षिण भारत में हिन्दी विरोध के सुर तेज हो गए हैं. कनिमोझी ने आरोप लगाया था कि जब उन्‍होंने सीआईएसएफ अफसर से तमिल या अंग्रेजी में बोलने को कहा तो अधिकारी ने उल्‍टा उनसे ही सवाल कर लिया कि क्‍या वो भारतीय नहीं हैं?कनिमोझी के इस आरोप के बाद पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री पी. चिदंबरम ने अपने साथ की घटना साझा की और अब कर्नाटक के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एचडी कुमारस्वामी ने भी कई ट्वीट कर बड़े आरोप लगाए हैं. कुमारस्वामी ने कहा कि हिन्दी भाषा राजनीति अक्सर दक्षिण भारतीय नेताओं से मौके छीनती है.
