Eight people have been killed in a gun attack in Niger, including six French tourists, and two Nigerians that were their guide and driver.
According to local officials, the gunman pulled up on motorcycles and opened fire.
Sunday's incident took place in an area of southwestern Niger in West Africa.
The area is visited by hundreds of tourists each year to see the region's distinctive giraffes.
It's unclear who was behind the attack, but the French government has advised against travelling outside Niger's capital.
