Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. said its experimental double antibody cocktail designed to prevent and treat COVID-19 is entering phase 3 human trials. The therapy, called REGN-COV2, has entered phase 2/3 portion of two adaptive Phase 1/2/3 trials testing the cocktail’s ability to treat hospitalised and non-hospitalised patients with coronavirus infection.

अमेरिकी जैव-प्रौद्योगिकी कंपनी रिजनेरॉन फार्मास्यूटिकल्स ने बताया कि कोरोना को रोकने और उसके इलाज के लिए तैयार किया गया एंटीबॉडी कॉकटेल REGN-COV2 परीक्षण के तीसरे चरण में पहुंच गया है। यानी अब इसका ट्रायल इंसानों पर शुरू किया जाएगा। कंपनी के मुताबिक कोविड -19 संक्रमण को रोकने और इसके इलाज की क्षमता का परीक्षण करने के लिए लगभग 2000 लोगों द्वारा नए एंटीबॉडी कॉकटेल का परीक्षण किया जाएगा।
