The Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences (DIPAS), a laboratory of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has developed an antibody detection-based kit ‘DIPCOVAN’. The kit, developed indigenously by the DRDO scientists in association with Delhi-based Vanguard Diagnostics Pvt Ltd, is intended for the qualitative detection of IgG antibodies in human serum or plasma, targeting SARS-CoV-2 related antigens.

देश में Corona संकट के बीच DRDO ने एक बड़ी कामयाबी हासिल की है. DRDO ने एक Dipocvan नाम का Antibody Detection Kit बनाया है. जानकारी के मुताबिक ये किट 97% की उच्च संवेदनशीलता और 99% की विशिष्टता के साथ वायरस के Mutation का पता लगा सकती है. इसके साथ ही ये वायरस के न्यूक्लियोकैप्सिड प्रोटीन का भी पता लगा सकती है. देखिए वीडियो
