Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced that they would support Indian candidate Sourav Ganguly as the next Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC).Former BCCI President Shashank Manohar is the current Chairman of the ICC, but he has previously said that he doesn’t wish to seek any further extension.

आईसीसी चेयरमैन पद पर सौरव गांगुली की दावेदारी को लेकर श्रीलंका क्रिकेट ने भी एक बड़ा ऐलान कर दिया है, श्रीलंकन क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने इस बात का ऐलान कर दिया है कि इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट काउंसिल के चेयरमैन के पद के लिए वे सौरव गांगुली का समर्थन करेंगे। श्रीलंकाई क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने साफ शब्दों में इस बात की घोषणा कर दी है कि बोर्ड भारतीय नॉमिनी का समर्थन करेगा।
