1 June 2020, Ganga is the festival of Dussehra. According to the Hindu calendar, Ganga had descended on Mother Earth on the tenth day of Shukla Paksha of Jyestha month. Ganga worship and bathing have special significance in Hinduism. Ganga water is definitely used in every auspicious work. Taking the Ganges bath on Ganges Dussehra eliminates 10 kinds of sins of the creatures. On this date, every kind of desire is fulfilled by bathing, donating and worshiping Ganga.

1 जून 2020 को गंगा दशहरा का पर्व है। हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार ज्येष्ठ महीने के शुक्ल पक्ष की दशमी तिथि पर गंगा मां पृथ्वी पर अवतरित हुई थीं। हिंदू धर्म में गंगा पूजन और स्नान का विशेष महत्व होता है। हर एक शुभ कार्य में गंगाजल का इस्तेमाल अवश्य किया जाता है। गंगा दशहरा पर गंगा स्नान करने से प्राणियों के 10 तरह के पाप मिट जाते हैं। इस तिथि पर गंगा स्नान, दान और पूजा करने से हर तरह की मनोकामना पूरी हो जाती है।
