Churu sizzles at 50 degrees Celsius, Delhi records hottest day in May since 2002. Even as the heatwave continued across north India, Churu in Rajasthan recorded the season's highest temperature at 50 degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Tuesday. Delhi (Palam) reported country's, second-highest Maximum temperature with 47.6 degrees Celsius. The national capital recorded the hottest May day since 2002.
