A fan decided to throw abuses on a bunch of Indians players(Rohit Sharma, Praveen Kumar, and Manoj Tiwary) undergoing a net session in the nets at the Gabba. The behaviour of the fan infuriated the Indian players and they retaliated in a furious manner. Rohit Sharma and Praveen Kumar hurled the choicest of abuses at the fan and even threatened to beat him up while a calm and composed Manoj Tiwary was seen advising the fan about the ill effects of alcohol.

रोहित शर्मा ब्रिसबेन के गाबा मैदान पर प्रैक्टिस कर रहे थे. उनके साथ मनोज तिवारी और प्रवीण कुमार भी थे. बल्लेबाजी की प्रैक्टिस करते हुए नेट्स के पीछे खड़े एक दर्शक ने रोहित को ऐसी बात कही कि वो भड़क गए. रोहित शर्मा इतने गुस्से में आ गए थे कि उन्होंने उसे बल्ला मारने की बात कही और साथ में गालियां दी. लड़ाई देख प्रवीण कुमार भी वहां आ गए और उन्होंने उस फैन को गाली देते हुए स्टंप उखाड़ दिया. दरअसल उस फैन ने शराब पी रखी थी और वो अनाप-शनाप बातें कर रहा था जिसने रोहित शर्मा और प्रवीण कुमार को नाराज कर दिया. मामला बढ़ते देख मनोज तिवारी वहां आ गए और उन्होंने बीच-बचाव किया.
