The migrant laborers created a ruckus demanding the return of the village to Kovvuru in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The workers demanded that they be sent to their home state. The ruckus increased so much that the police had to charge sticks. According to ANI, around 300 migrant laborers gathered on the road. These workers were demanding to go to their village. An atmosphere of tension was created amidst the uproar. At first the police tried to stop them, but some people started throwing stones at the police. After this, the police started lathi charge on them. The workers were lashed with sticks.

आंध्र प्रदेश के पश्चिमी गोदावरी जिले के कोव्वुरु में गांव लौटने की मांग को लेकर प्रवासी मजदूरों ने जमकर हंगामा किया। मजदूरों की मांग थी कि उन्हें अपने गृह राज्य भेजा जाए। ये हंगामा इतना बढ़ा कि पुलिस को लाठी चार्ज करना पड़ा। एएनआई के मुताबिक करीब 300 प्रवासी मजदूर सड़क पर इकट्ठे हो गए। ये मजदूर अपने गांव जाने की मांग कर रहे थे। हंगामे के बीच तनाव का माहौल बन गया। पहले तो पुलिस ने इन्हें रोकने की कोशिश की, लेकिन कुछ लोगों ने पुलिस पर पथराव शुरू कर दिया। इसके बाद पुलिस को उनपर लाठी चार्ज शुरू कर दिया। मजदूरों पर जमकर लाठी बरसाई गईं।
