The anger of the collector and deputy collector erupted over BJP workers performing in support of CAA. District collector Nidhi Nivedita clashed with BJP workers. She started beating them alone. At the same time, when Deputy Collector Priya Verma started beating the BJP workers, people misbehaved with her. Former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has warned of agitation regarding the matter.

सीएए के समर्थन में प्रदर्शन कर रहे बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं पर कलेक्टर और डिप्टी कलेक्टर का गुस्सा फूट पड़ा। बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं से जिले की कलेक्टर निधि निवेदिता भिड़ गईं। वो अकेले ही उनकी पिटाई करने लगी। वहीं, डिप्टी कलेक्टर प्रिया वर्मा जब बीजेपी कार्यकर्ताओं की पिटाई करने लगी तो उनके साथ लोगों ने बदसलूकी की। मामले को लेकर पूर्व सीएम शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने आंदोलन की चेतावनी दे डाली है।
