Scientists at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine believe that they’ve found a potential vaccine for the new coronavirus.The researchers announced their findings Thursday and believe the vaccine could be rolled out quickly enough to “significantly impact the spread of disease,” according to their study published in EBioMedicine.


नई वैक्सीन सामान्य वैक्सीन से अलग तरह की है। यह उंगली के टिप जैसा एक चौकोर पैच की शक्ल में तैयार किया गया है, जिसे शरीर पर कहीं भी चिपकाया जा सकता है। इस पैच में शक्कर की बनी हुई 400 से अधिक सूक्ष्म सुइयां हैं, जो शरीर पर आसानी से चिपक जाती है और उसके जरिए दवा अंदर पहुंचाया जाता है। टीका देने का यह तरीका बेहद नया है और इंसान पर इसका परीक्षण शुरू होने वाला है।
