The Congress has lost power in Madhya Pradesh due to the leaving of 22 MLAs, while there are still many more MLAs who are standing on the boundary line and are planning to change the ground. Most of them are MLAs whose loyalty in Congress is less. After going to the government of Kamal Nath in the state, the exercise of forming the BJP government is going on, it is the effort of the BJP to strengthen its strength and weaken the Congress.

मध्यप्रदेश में 22 विधायकों का साथ छोड़ने से कांग्रेस को सत्ता गंवानी पड़ी है, तो वहीं अब भी कई और ऐसे विधायक हैं जो बाउंड्री लाइन पर खड़े हैं और पाला बदलने का मन बना रहे हैं. इनमें ज्यादातर वो विधायक हैं जिनकी निष्ठा कांग्रेस में कम ही रही है. राज्य में कमलनाथ की सरकार जाने के बाद बीजेपी की सरकार बनाने की कवायद जारी है, वही बीजेपी की कोशिश है कि वो अपनी ताकत को और मजबूत करे और कांग्रेस को कमजोर किया जाए.
