UIDAI's Hyderabad office has sent notices to 127 people who allegedly obtained Aadhaar numbers by using the wrong method. Most of the people who have been issued notices are from the Muslim community. Initially, UIDAI has told these people to prove their citizenship by showing the actual documents. However, UIDAI has now clarified that it has nothing to do with citizenship. The UIDAI issued notices after receiving a report from the police.

UIDAI ने के हैदराबाद ऑफिस ने कथित तौर पर गलत तरीका अपनाकर आधार नंबर प्राप्त करने वाले 127 लोगों को नोटिस भेजा है। जिन लोगों को नोटिस जारी किया गया है, उनमें ज्यादातर मुस्लिम समुदाय से हैं। शुरुआत में बताया गया UIDAI ने इन लोगों को वास्तविक दस्तावेज दिखाकर नागरिकता साबित करने को कहा है। हालांकि, अब UIDAI ने साफ किया कि इसका नागरिकता से कोई संबंध नहीं है। UIDAI पुलिस से रिपोर्ट मिलने के बाद नोटिस जारी किए हैं।
