One woman has been shot dead and another injured after a gunman opened fire at a shopping mall in Bangkok on Tuesday (February 18).
Officers raced to the Century Plaza building in the centre of the Thai capital, near to the city's well-known Victory monument.
Witnesses said the shooting happened at around 3pm local time inside a dental clinic in the building.
One woman was seen in a pool of blood on the ground as paramedics battled to revive her.
Footage shows officers in brown uniforms walking through the building. The gunman is still believed to be at large.
Police have closed off the surrounding area.
The shooting comes just over a week after a soldier opened fire at a shopping mall in Nakhon Ratchasima killing 30 people and injuring 60 others.
