Three people were wounded by gunfire outside a Macy's department store in a shopping mall outside of Pittsburgh on Saturday night, an FBI official said.
The three victims, two men and a woman, were transported to Forbes Hospital, where one person was listed in stable condition. The other two were listed in critical condition. Their identities have not been released to the public.
FBI supervisory special agent Greg Heeb said he did not know if a shooter had been apprehended yet.
Police from outside Monroeville and FBI agents were called in to help locate the shooter, Heeb said.
The shooting occurred in the Monroeville Mall around 7:45 p.m. outside of the Macy's near the Mister Rogers Neighborhood play area.
Witnesses said multiple shots were fired inside the mall, leading to a chaos as people ran to get out of the mall.
Police Chief Doug Cole said the shooting didn't appear to be random. The shooting may have been connected to a gang dispute.
