The Election Commission has come into action on the disputed slogan of senior BJP leader and Union Minister Anurag Thakur. The Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi has sought a report from the Election Commissioner of the North West District to raise inflammatory slogans of 'Shoot the traitors of the country' by Anurag Thakur. Congress has also demanded the Election Commission to take strict action against Thakur.

बीजेपी के वरिष्ठ नेता और केंद्रीय मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर के विवादित वाले नारे पर चुनाव आयोग हरकत में आ गया है. दिल्ली के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने अनुराग ठाकुर द्वारा ‘देश के गद्दारों को, गोली मारो… वाले भड़काऊ नारे लगाने के लिए उत्तर पश्चिम जिले के चुनाव आयुक्त से रिपोर्ट मांगी है. कांग्रेस ने भी चुनाव आयोग से ठाकुर के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई करने की मांग की है.
