Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) could get a new Managing Director soon if the directive by SEBI on separation of the Chairman and Managing Director posts is implemented as per schedule on April 1. Mukesh Ambani, who is currently the chairman and MD of the oil-to-telecom conglomerate will likely become the non-executive chairman while a non-Ambani will take charge as the MD for the first time in the company's history.

रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड के इतिहास में पहली बार एक बड़ा बदलाव होने जा रहा है. पहली बार कंपनी के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर के पद पर अंबानी परिवार के अलावा कोई और नियुक्त किया जा सकता है। बता दें कि सेबी के आदेश के बाद ऐसा होने जा रहा है. सेबी ने अपने हालिया आदेश में कहा है कि एक कंपनी का मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर और चेयरमैन एक ही शख्स नहीं हो सकता है। इस आदेश को लागू करने की आखिरी तारीख 1 अप्रैल 2020 है।
