The Shiv Sena has given a sharp reply to the Congress about this. The Shiv Sena has said that it is not with the UPA on the citizenship bill. In response to a question, Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray has said that there was no reason for the party to join the delegation.

नागरिकता कानून पर हो रहे विवाद पर शिवसेना ने कांग्रेस को दो टूक जवाब दिया है। कांग्रेस के साथ मिलकर सरकार बनाने वाली शिवसेना ने कहा है कि वो नागरिकता बिल पर यूपीए के साथ नहीं है। नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ राष्ट्रपति से मिलने वाले विपक्षी पार्टियों के प्रतिनिधिमंडल से अलग रहने को लेकर पूछे गए एक सवाल के जवाब में शिवसेना चीफ उद्धव ठाकरे ने कहा है कि पार्टी के प्रतिनिधिमंडल में शामिल होने का कोई कारण नहीं था।
