Surah Al-Balad (Arabic: البلد) is the 90th surah in the Qur'an. This surah is classified as Makkiyah surah which consists of 20 verses. Named "Al-Balad" which means Country taken from the words "Al-Balad" contained in the first verse of this surah. What is meant by the city in this verse is the city of Mecca.
