Surah Al-'Adiyat consists of 11 verses and is classified as surah makkiyah, this letter was revealed after surah Al-'Asr. The name Al 'Aadiyat is taken from the word Al' Aadiyaat which means to run fast contained in the first verse of this letter.
The main points: The threat of Allah SWT to people who deny and who love their property so much that they will be rewarded in kind when they are raised from the grave and when the contents of their breasts are exposed.
