Narak Chaturdashi is also called Roop Chaturdashi and Kali Chaturdashi and this year this festival is coming on the 27th of October with Deepawali. Lamps are lit at night on Narak Chaturdashi and two mythological stories are associated with lighting lamps in the house on this day.

नरक चतुर्दशी को रूप चतुर्दशी और काली चतुर्दशी भी कहा जाता है और इस साल ये पर्व दीपावली के साथ यानी 27 अक्टूबर के दिन आ रहा है। नरक चतुर्दशी के दिन रात के समय दीपक जलाया जाता है और इस दिन घर में दीपक जलाने से दो पौराणिक कथाएं जुड़ी हुई हैं।
