Nagpur West Assembly seat has been occupied by BJP for the last ten years. BJP and Congress have announced their candidates on this seat. Nagpur West Assembly seat falls in Nagpur Lok Sabha seat only. For many years this assembly seat was the stronghold of the Congress, but in the last few years this seat has become a strong fort of BJP.

नागपुर वेस्ट विधानसभा सीट पर पिछले दस साल से बीजेपी का कब्जा है. इस सीट पर बीजेपी और कांग्रेस ने अपने उम्मीदवारों की घोषणा कर दी है. नागपुर पश्चिम विधानसभा सीट नागपुर लोकसभा सीट में ही आती है. कई सालों तक ये विधानसभा सीट कांग्रेस का गढ़ था, मगर पिछले कुछ सालों में ये सीट बीजेपी का मजबूत किला बन गया है.
