Many store owners have to travel several kilometers to stock up. Seeing an opportunity, Ashish Jhina and Karthik Venkateswaran founded Jumbotail in 2015. A wholesale online marketplace for kirana stores, the venture today has a tie-up with over 20,000 kirana stores in Bengaluru.
