Photographs of two people in the 2002 riots in Gujarat were discussed worldwide. One of them was of Ashok Parmar waving a sword in his hand and the other picture was of Qutubuddin Ansari, who was praying to save his life. The two later became friends and appeared together on several forums. After 17 years, the two came together again in Ahmedabad. The occasion was the inauguration of Ashoka's footwear shop 'Ekta Chappal Ghar'.


गुजरात में 2002 में हुए दंगों में दो लोगों की तस्वीरें दुनियाभर में चर्चा में रही थी। इनमें एक तस्वीर हाथ में तलवार लहराते अशोक परमार की और दूसरी तस्वीर जान बचाने के लिए गिड़गिड़ाते कुतुबुद्दीन अंसारी की थी। दोनों बाद में दोस्त बने और कई मंचों पर साथ दिखे। 17 साल बाद दोनों फिर अहमदाबाद में साथ आए। मौका था अशोक की फुटवियर की दुकान 'एकता चप्पल घर' के उद्घाटन का।
