Less than a week after confirming talks, JG Summit has agreed to buy San Miguel's stake in Meralco, making them allies yet again with Manuel Pangilinan's PLDTMetro Pacific group and ending Pangilinan's unintended partnership with San Miguel's Ramon Ang.
