India continues to dominate the ongoing ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Young shooter Abhishek Verma won the gold medal in the 10-meter air rifle category on Thursday. At the same time, Saurabh Chaudhary got the bronze medal in this event. Abhishek scored 244.2 points. At the same time, Saurabh got 221.9 marks. Ismail scored 234.1. Abhishek and Saurabh had won the Olympic quota in the qualifying event itself. In the qualification round, Saurabh was fourth with 584 points and Abhishek was fifth with 582 points.

ब्राजील के रियो डी जनेरियो में चल रहे ISSF विश्व कप में भारत का दबदबा जारी है। युवा निशानेबाज अभिषेक वर्मा ने गुरुवार को 10 मीटर एयर राइफल वर्ग में गोल्ड मेडल जीत लिया है। वहीं इस इवेंट में ही सौरभ चौधरी को ब्रॉन्ज मेडल मिला। अभिषेक ने 244.2 अंक हासिल किए। वहीं, सौरभ को 221.9 अंक मिले। इस्माइल को 234.1 अंक हासिल हुए। अभिषेक और सौरभ ने क्वालिफाइंग इवेंट में ही ओलिंपिक कोटा हासिल कर लिया था। क्वालिफिकेश राउंड में सौरभ 584 अंक के साथ चौथे और अभिषेक 582 अंक के साथ पांचवें स्थान पर रहे थे।
