PV Sindhu, who became India's first player to win the World Badminton Championship, met India's Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. During this, his coach Pullela Gopichand was also present with her. Sindhu is overwhelmed after receiving honors from the Sports Minister and the Prime Minister. Rijiju, while posting on the occasion said that he has honored PV Sindhu, who created history and made India proud by winning the World Badminton Championship for the first time.

विश्व बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप जीतने वाली भारत की पहली खिलाड़ी बनने वाली पीवी सिंधु ने मंगलवार के दिन भारत के खेल मंत्री किरन रिजिजु और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी से मुलाकात की। इस दौरान उनके साथ उनके कोच पुलेला गोपीचंद भी मौजूद थे। खेल मंत्री और प्रधानमंत्री से सम्मान पाकर सिंधु अभिभूत हैं। रिजिजू ने इस अवसर पर पोस्ट करते हुए कहा है- पहली बार वर्ल्ड बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप जीतकर इतिहास रचने वाली और भारत को गर्व का अहसास दिलाने वाली पीवी सिंधु को सम्मानित किया है। मेरी शुभकामनाएं हैं कि वे आगे भी भारत के नाम ऐसे ही रोशन करती रहें।
