日대사관 앞 울려퍼진 외침…"전쟁범죄 사죄하라"
Several demonstrations were held today near the Japanese Embassy in Seoul.
The weekly Wednesday rally over the wartime sex slavery issue was held as usual, with participants calling for official apology and compensation.
The organizers highlighted the recent removal of a comfort women statue from a public art exhibition in Nagoya, and called on Japan to admit to its wartime wrongdoing.
A union representing government workers also held a protest and urged Tokyo to accept South Korea's court ruling that ordered Japanese companies to compensate victims of wartime forced labor.
