Breakdancing is likely to become an official Olympic sport at the 2024 Paris Olympics.  Athletes hoping to compete in the street dance are now waiting for the International Olympic Committee to make a final decision at a meeting in December 2020.  In February 2019, host city Paris proposed that breakdancing be included in the 2024 Olympics.
