South Korea has returned three North Korean fishermen who had been questioned after crossing the inter-Korean maritime border on Saturday.
Seoul's unification ministry says it delivered its message to the North via the joint liaison office this morning... and the crew and the fishing boat have both departed.
Late Saturday, the boat crossed the Northern Limit Line and entered South Korean waters.
The South Korean military dispatched forces and towed the boat to a naval base.
The North Korean crew said the boat had suffered a "navigational error" and they didn't want to defect.
But there had to be a detailed probe... as the South Korean military suspected the boat could have belonged to the North Korean military.
