Former New Zealand Coach Mike Hesson is set to send in his application for the position of head coach of the Indian team. The last date to submit applications is July 30 with the current head coach Ravi Shastri getting a direct entry into the interview process.

టీమిండియా హెడ్ కోచ్‌తో పాటు సపోర్టింగ్ స్టాఫ్‌కు బీసీసీఐ దరఖాస్తులను ఆహ్వానించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. దీంతో ఇప్పటికే శ్రీలంక మాజీ క్రికెటర్‌ మహేల జయవర్దనే, సీనియర్‌ కోచ్‌లు టామ్‌ మూడీ, గ్యారీ కిరిస్టెన్‌లు ప్రదాన కోచ్‌ పదవికి దరఖాస్తు చేసినట్టు వార్తలు వచ్చాయి.
అయితే ప్రస్తుత కోచ్‌ రవిశాస్త్రి దరఖాస్తు చేయకుండానే నేరుగా ఇంటర్వ్యూకు వచ్చే వెసులుబాటును బీసీసీఐ కల్పించింది. దీంతో ఇప్పటివరకు టీమిండియా హెడ్ కోచ్ రేసులో నలుగురు ఉన్నట్లు సమాచారం. అయితే మరో దిగ్గజ కోచ్‌ టీమిండియా హెడ్ కోచ్‌ పదవికి దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోనున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
