Most of western Europe is baking under an intense heatwave... with Belgium recording its highest-ever temperature on Wednesday.
The mercury reached 39-point-9 degrees Celsius in the town of Kleine Brogel.
It's the highest temperature since 1833 when Belgium's weather agency started keeping records.
Belgium issued its first-ever "code red warning" for the entire country due to the heat.
The warning will remain in effect through Friday.
