문 대통령, '스타트업 선도국 핀란드,... 한국에 큰 공감,... 한반도 비핵화 이루어지면 경제협력 무궁무진해 질 것'

President Moon Jae-in says that Korea has much to learn from Finland in terms of promoting startup businesses.
While on a trip to the Nordic country,... the president said economic cooperation will be infinite,... when peace on the Korean Peninsula is realized.
Shin Se-min reports from Finland.
President Moon Jae-in says Seoul has a lot to learn from the motherland of the once-mighty IT startup firm Nokia.
While attending the inaugural event of Korea-Finland Startup Summit,... on the last day of his state trip to the Nordic country,... President Moon said Finland is an inspiration for his country in terms of its abundance of innovative activities.
Referring to Korea as a nation that sits in the middle of an economic structure centered on large conglomerates, can greatly sympathize. South Korea hopes to realize innovation and inclusivity, together with Finland, by learning from the Nordic nation.
President Moon said the two sides will strengthen their ties in building a startup ecosystem,... while jointly reacting to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He said the two have agreed to solidify their efforts on the healthcare front,... to adapt to the aging population.
Korea's SMEs and Startups ministry previously announced that it will set up two startup centers in Northern Europe next year, one in Finland and the other in Sweden,... where entrepreneurs can better seek partnership opportunities with local firms.
Prior to the event,... President Moon met with Finnish Prime Minister,.. where the two agreed on promoting exchanges of people and goods between Asia and Europe.
And the president had an ambitious prediction for the two sides' economic partnership...
he said when lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula is realized,... the two sides will see infinite economic cooperation. I ask Finland to be part of Korea's dream of peace and mutual prosperity.
“With that,… President Moon departs on the second leg of his trip Norway,… where his much anticipated speech at the Oslo Forum is scheduled. And the expectation is that the president may use the symbolic stage of Oslo, known for giving out the Nobel Peace Prize,… to echo the model of peace seen in the region.
