After Smriti Irani , New HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is now stuck in Fake Degree Controversy .The controversy surrounding fake degrees refuses to die down within the Human Resource Development (HRD) ministry.As Modi Cabinet 2.0 gears up to take charge of their appointed portfolios, newly appointed HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank May find himself in centre of yet another fake degree controversy.His obsession for the 'Dr' suffix has led him to get two honorary doctorate degrees from a Sri Lanka-based international university.In the 90s, the Open International University (OIU) of Colombo conferred a DLitt for his contribution in literature. And then, a few years ago he received another DLitt degree from the same university for contributions in the field of science.


स्मृति ईरानी के बाद रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक डिग्री विवाद से फंसे, मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री है निशंक | मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्रालय(MHRD) में डिग्री विवाद के थमने के फिलहाल आसार नहीं दिख रहे हैं. नए बने मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक भी कथित फेक डिग्री विवाद में खुद को घिरा पा सकते हैं. नाम के आगे डॉक्टर लगाने के उनके शौक ने उन्हें श्रीलंका स्थित एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय विश्वविद्यालय से दो-दो मानद डॉक्टरेट की उपाधि प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रेरित किया. जबकि यह विश्वविद्यालय श्रीलंका में पंजीकृत ही नहीं है.
